Still Here
Joe is still at Chandler Regional Hospital. They are in constant contact with UMC and are monitoring Joe closely. They have his hydration almost back to normal (but he's still on IV's), he is still on oxygen (having breathing issues) and he's on a heart monitor because his heart is beating too fast (no stress here!) The good news is that his pain level is better and they are able to keep it under control. The better news is they test him everyday and his scan today shows signs of improvement from the blockage. He's not out of the woods yet, but making progress. If things aren't better tomorrow, he will have to get the "bile tube" inserted through his nose to his stomach. If that doesn't work, he'll be transported to Tucson for another surgery. The doctors really think that based on the test today, that this will work itself out.
Your prayers are working...thank you so much.
XOXO

Sherrie,
ReplyDeleteWe're so sorry to hear about Joe. You're all in our thoughts and prayers. We hope this is his final trip to the hospital. Please let us know if you need anything.
Love,
Mike and Kathy
I have been thinking non-stop of you guys. Please know that a lot of people are praying for you out here!
ReplyDeleteEveryday I pray for Joe and you guys. My mom and her church members in California said a special prayer for him on Sunday. We all know that prayer changes things and that Joe is going to get better very soon.

It sounds like you are fighting like crazy, which does not suprise us at all. Please know that we are thinking of you and we will follow your progress and look forward to good news. ReplyDeleteI will be praying that all goes well. From reading about his past "quick recoveries", it sounds like he has a good chance of making it through this current trial. Love to you all....Stacy
